Direct Furniture offers a reliable Personalised Home Delivery Service for all furniture items, big or small. Our aim is to deliver your furniture safely and on time, with convenience and flexibility tailored to your needs.
Order Processing & Dispatch:
- In-stock items are typically dispatched within 1-4 business days after payment is received.
- Made-to-order items may take 10-12 weeks, depending on the selected colour, size, or combination.
- Some products may be temporarily unavailable due to stock levels; in such cases, estimated delivery times will be provided.
- Once your order is ready, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a delivery date and timeframe.
Delivery Timeframes
- Average delivery for Perth Metro suburbs is 1-4 business days for in-stock items.
- For items not in stock, or made-to-order, delivery may take up to 10-12 weeks.
- Delivery to regional or remote areas may take longer; additional charges may apply.
- Our drivers will call 30-60 minutes prior to arrival to confirm the delivery window.
- While we aim to deliver on time, please note that estimated timeframes are a guide only and delays may occasionally occur.
Delivery Details & Customer Responsibilities
- Items are delivered to the room of your choice on the ground floor.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that all furniture fits through doors, hallways, stairwells, and elevators. Please check measurements before ordering.
- We can deliver to a garage or other safe location if instructed.
- Delivery and pickup do not include assembly unless arranged beforehand.
Delivery Charges
- Delivery costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise quoted. You can also refer to the table below.
- Perth Metro delivery starts from $65, based on distance.
- Additional charges may apply for remote areas or special delivery requirements.
Scheduling & No-Show Policy
- Rescheduling is free if notified before the scheduled delivery day.
- If no one is home at the agreed delivery time and prior notice hasn’t been given, additional delivery fees may apply.
Self-Pickup
- Free pickup is available from our Welshpool, Midland, or Port Kennedy warehouses.
- Pickup cutoff times are strictly 30 minutes before store closing.
- Customers must provide their own transportation materials (straps, rope, protective coverings).

Assembly:
Please note that some items from our store require assembly. Flat-packed items, including beds and dining tables, come with all parts and instruction manuals, which can be viewed by clicking here.
Sofa lounges are delivered in boxes and also require some assembly. Most other items come in one solid piece and do not require assembly.
Delivery and pickup do not include assembly. Items are delivered and picked up in their original form unless otherwise arranged at the time of invoicing.
