Warranty Information
Direct Furniture products are covered by a 12-month structural warranty, unless otherwise stated, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Please note: scratches, bumps, blemishes, fabric, or minor cosmetic damages are not covered.
Making a Claim:
- Report any faults, missing parts, or damage as soon as possible.
- Take clear photos or videos and keep your proof of purchase.
- We’ll work with you to find the best solution.
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, all costs will be covered. A service fee may apply if no fault is found during inspection.
Delivery & Shipping
Order Processing & Dispatch:
- In-stock items are typically dispatched within 1-4 business days after payment is received.
- Made-to-order items may take 10-12 weeks, depending on the selected colour, size, or combination.
- Some products may be temporarily unavailable due to stock levels; in such cases, estimated delivery times will be provided.
- Once your order is ready, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a delivery date and timeframe.
Delivery Timeframes
- Average delivery for Perth Metro suburbs is 1-4 business days for in-stock items.
- For items not in stock, or made-to-order, delivery may take up to 10-12 weeks.
- Delivery to regional or remote areas may take longer; additional charges may apply.
- Our drivers will call 30-60 minutes prior to arrival to confirm the delivery window.
- While we aim to deliver on time, please note that estimated timeframes are a guide only and delays may occasionally occur.
Delivery Details & Customer Responsibilities
- Items are delivered to the room of your choice on the ground floor.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that all furniture fits through doors, hallways, stairwells, and elevators. Please check measurements before ordering.
- We can deliver to a garage or other safe location if instructed.
- Delivery and pickup do not include assembly unless arranged beforehand.
Delivery Charges
- Delivery costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise quoted. You can also refer to the table below.
- Perth Metro delivery starts from $65, based on distance.
- Additional charges may apply for remote areas or special delivery requirements.
Scheduling & No-Show Policy
- Rescheduling is free if notified before the scheduled delivery day.
- If no one is home at the agreed delivery time and prior notice hasn’t been given, additional delivery fees may apply.
Self-Pickup
- Free pickup is available from our Welshpool, Midland, or Port Kennedy warehouses.
- Pickup cutoff times are strictly 30 minutes before store closing.
- Customers must provide their own transportation materials (straps, rope, protective coverings).
